Title: Zhong Poleris Greentech Held an 0n-the-Spot Meeting on Organic Catalytic Flue Gas Cleaning Technology

Main content:

On March 9, 2011, Organic Catalytic Flue Gas Cleaning Technology Application On-The-Spot Meeting was held in Beijing. Israeli ambassador Amos Nadai, the director of SASAC research center Mr. Li Baomin, and other officers, guests attended the meeting. (Technology introduction omitted.) Mr. Li Baomin indicated that, Chinese government always lay heavy stress about energy-saving and emission reduction on Chinese central enterprises and large scale state-owned enterprises. These enterprises should promote energy-saving and emission reduction work actively and sturdily. The relevant units should help to transfer and import relative technologies, and finally realize a good cooperation between technology supplier and end-user’s. (project introduction omitted.) This technology can be applied to metallurgical and petrochemical industries.

Title: DeSOx, DeNOx, and Mercury Removal Solution ---- An Israeli Organic Catalytic Flue Gas Cleaning Technology

Main content:

On Jan. 14, 2011, Chinese Environmental Protection Department and State Quality Inspection Administration issued the latest (Exposure draft, edition 2). This document offers a guidance target for SO2 (100mg/m3), NOx (100mg/m3), Hg and other compound’s (0.03mg/m3) removal. Industry insiders all feel that China’s environmental protection policies and emission removal requirements are heading seriousness and diversity. (project introduction, technology introduction and comparison omitted.) This Israeli organic catalyst can be reused, and this technology doesn’t cause secondary pollution and other wastes. This technology provides a development direction reference for flue gas emission reduction work. This technology will be one of the best solutions to solve air pollution problem in China for power plant, steel company and chemical plant.

LEXTRAN first commercial installation, CET Iasi, Romania

LEXTRAN first commercial installation, CET Iasi, RomaniaLEXTRAN completed its first commercial installation at a 25 MW unit, in CET Iasi, Romania. The project was supported and partially funded by the Dutch Government, who selected LEXTRAN clean air technology as the most suitable one out of other proposed.

Test runs conducted by an independent institute showed promising results - SOx have removal close to 100% and NOx removal close to 60%. An inauguration event was held at Iasi, Romania, with the participation of the Dutch Ambassador, Secretary of State Marian Petrache and representatives from power stations and other high energy consuming industries.

During the site tour at CET Iasi, the participants were exposed to LEXTRAN technology advantages, such as - very small footprint compared to other technologies, using only liquid reagents, treating 3 pollutants simultaneously, producing commercially valuable fertilizers, etc.
